World Merit is a network of people rising up to tackle the most pressing issues that the world is facing by connecting online to learn from each other and make impact in the real world. They work by the 80/20 principle. Our team at World Merit HQ does 20% of the work which sets up the community to be able to do the other 80%.
Their aim is to build confidence and raise aspirations. They want to be a force for social mobility and a source of hope. Ultimately their Mission and Vision reflects their ambition to support global youth and offer opportunities for everyone to reach their potential and change the world.
Merit 360 is their flagship event. The most significant opportunity offered to youth to change the world for the better! Focusing on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, they invite passionate individuals between the ages of 18-35 to develop a strategy which will lead and inspire a global community to take action and create change. Strategy development will begin online months prior to the event and Action Plan 002 will be presented to the United Nations and implemented in communities all around the world.
